A different approach is needed to provide more flexibility, while lowering costs and removing complexity from the data integration process. | Gartner's new report, N-DEx: The Future of Nationwide Information Sharing in the U.S. (January 27, 2010) recommends Sypherlink as a vendor to work with when implementing NIEM. Within the "Steps to Take" section of the report, Gartner analyst Jeff Vining recommends accelerating the up-front extraction, transformation and loading of data through automation tools. According to Vining, "Mapping tasks are largely manual efforts that are prone to errors and inconsistencies."
